That said, Titans need to be balanced, and I am fine with this change, but holy crap, the amount of "have-not" tears in this thread is disgusting.
I'm more than capable of buying and flying my own supercap but chose not to because it was blatantly obvious a year or more ago they were going to get nerfed. A lot of short sighted idiots chose to hop on the bandwagon thinking that a supercap was a one-way ticket to Elite Pee Vee Pee status and that spending 50 billion or more on a ship would guarantee them risk-free killmail printing for life, and a lot of previously well regarded corps and alliances chose to sully their reputation by recruiting any clueless idiot who managed to get themselves into one. They'll get theirs. Winter is coming. |

I'm pretty sure I said this too (somewhere). It removes something like 30-40% of a supercap's typical EHP, which is hardly crippling but means a supercap has a smaller margin of error if you do something stupid with it. It also sidesteps the weird anomaly we have currently where the same size rig is used for both battleships and Titans. |
